I have always wanted a good stamina system with movement options that allow for many different ways to explore the three dimensions. This mod has all of those features you may have wanted in Minecraft from the very start!
This mod adds Stamina mainly, which I call “Sprint”
Sprint charges up over time, and allows you to use all of the movement options, and also, as the name might allude to, controls how long you can sprint for.

This feature of stamina is only added by a few mods, and I don't fully get why people don’t make more stamina mods. One reason might be that it’s inconvenient for regular gameplay, or the stamina icon gets in the way of the screen, or other mod’s HUD display addons.
My mod (mostly) doesn’t do this, because the stamina icon is in the middle of the hunger and the health, easy to see and manage, and the stamina being consumed when you sprint doesn’t get in the way with how the game is played, and it doesn’t go away too fast, so you don’t have to worry about the stamina system basically preventing sprinting all together, it just nerfs it very slightly.
Now, onto the new movement features!
If you press X, (configurable keybind) you will do a dash forward.
If you are falling, and press shift and X at the same time, you will do a groundpound, launching you to the ground, and preventing fall damage for the duration, great for clutching from high heights.
If you jump and press X at the same time, you will do a double jump, lifting you up more than the traditional dash, but moving you forward way less, great for scaling mountains quickly.
If you sneak next to a wall, you will climb on it, and if you look up or down, you will move in that direction, and will slowly take stamina over time. (this feature is a bit buggy, so if you are trying to climb and it won’t work, that’s why, I’ll try to fix it in the future)
If you dash while elytra flying in the air, you will boost forward in the direction you look, but you can only do it three times before your sprint runs out and you need to return to the ground, as to not overrule firework rockets completely.
If you press C, (configurable toggle keybind) you will go into a crawl, and if you sneak and press X, you will go into a dive, automatically setting you into a crawl.
Eating food also replenishes Sprint, in the newest patch, otherwise you can use the beta test "Sprintweed" and its copper pipe to replenish Sprint in a hurry.
