This mod does a couple things:
1) It lets you create structures to spawn in world from structure block nbt files. Examples:
2) Adds a new biome source - ftbstructures:island_grid
It creates rings of biomes around configurable distances (typically meant for places where Team Islands spawn) and it looks something like this: 
3) Adds barrels and crates
