Formworks is a vanilla-inspired Minecraft building and decoration mod focused on giving existing blocks more shapes, patterns, and building possibilities without changing the feel of Minecraft.
Ever looked at a vanilla block and thought, “I wish this had a tile variant”? Formworks aims to fill those gaps with carefully designed blocks that fit naturally alongside Minecraft's existing building palette.
Formworks introduces additional variants of familiar Minecraft materials, giving you more freedom when designing floors, walls, paths, roofs, interiors, and detailed structures.
The mod includes a growing collection of:
Full blocks
Slabs
Stairs
Walls
Tile and patterned variants
Decorative alternatives to existing vanilla blocks
Each variant is designed to feel like something that could naturally belong in vanilla Minecraft.
Formworks focuses heavily on making its textures blend with the blocks you already know.
The goal isn't to completely redesign Minecraft's building palette—it's to expand it. Place Formworks blocks next to their vanilla counterparts and they should feel like natural extensions of the same material.
Whether you're making a giant castle, a cozy house, a detailed floor, or a massive city, Formworks gives you more options without overwhelming your build with completely different materials.
Formworks is especially useful for players who enjoy adding small details to their builds.
Want a tiled floor instead of a plain stone floor?
Need a different pattern for a wall?
Want a material to have more shape options?
That's what Formworks is for.
The mod is also designed to grow over time, with more materials and variants potentially being added in future updates.
Formworks takes the blocks Minecraft already gives you and expands what you can do with them.
ENJOY!
