Adaptive Performance Engine for Minecraft
Fluxara is a lightweight, safety-focused performance and diagnostics engine for Minecraft. It monitors client frame times, server tick performance, system hardware, runtime conditions and mod interactions, then adapts its own workload to keep diagnostics and background processing under control.
Fluxara is designed around one principle: performance optimization should never come at the cost of stability or gameplay integrity.
Fluxara continuously collects performance information such as:
Frame-time statistics and percentiles
Server tick / MSPT measurements
Server pressure and tick-stall detection
CPU and memory information
Runtime and environment information
Fluxara's own performance overhead
Measurements are stored using bounded sample windows to avoid uncontrolled memory growth.
Fluxara can dynamically adjust its own optional workload depending on system and server pressure.
The adaptive system uses:
Pressure thresholds
Hysteresis
Minimum consecutive samples
Cooldowns
Stability protection
Bounded scheduling
Work cancellation and coalescing
When the server becomes overloaded, Fluxara can reduce or defer Fluxara-owned optional work instead of interfering with Minecraft's gameplay systems.
Fluxara includes a controlled diagnostic framework capable of examining:
Client performance
Server performance
Installed mods
Mod interactions
Hardware
Runtime environment
Performance bottlenecks
Fluxara's own overhead
Diagnostics use bounded and cancellable sessions with explicit measurement provenance.
Run diagnostics with:
/fluxara test
Available diagnostic modes include:
/fluxara test client
/fluxara test server
/fluxara test mods
/fluxara test full
You can cancel an active diagnostic with:
/fluxara test cancel
And view the latest generated report with:
/fluxara report
Fluxara is deliberately conservative.
It does not skip Minecraft ticks, delete entities, freeze mobs, modify AI, mutate chunks, alter inventories, manipulate redstone systems or change gameplay logic.
The optimization framework also includes:
Safe mode
Rollback handling
Optimization quarantine
Incident journal
Regression protection
Bounded memory usage
Bounded scheduler workload
Cancellable runtime measurements
Conservative experiment validation
Potentially harmful optimization experiments are rejected when sufficient evidence is not available, and harmful experimental paths can be rolled back and recorded.
Fluxara provides a client configuration screen with controls for:
Fluxara enable/disable
Frame metrics
Advanced settings
The mod uses safe defaults and bounded sample capacities.
The FPS limit is unlimited by default and remains user-controlled.
Fluxara does not promise a fixed FPS or TPS increase.
Actual performance improvements depend on the hardware, Minecraft installation, modpack and workload. The current release contains the infrastructure for controlled measurement and safe adaptive optimization, while direct optimization of Minecraft gameplay systems remains intentionally restricted until it can be safely verified.
This means Fluxara prioritizes measurable evidence, compatibility and stability over artificial benchmark numbers.
Minecraft: 1.21.1
Mod Loader: NeoForge
NeoForge: 21.1.249+
Java: 21
Current Version: 1.9.0
Client & Server: Supported
Fluxara requires:
Minecraft 1.21.1
NeoForge 21.1.249 or compatible 21.1.x environment
No additional optimization mod is required.
Fluxara 1.9.0 / V19 represents the current safety and runtime-measurement foundation.
The project is actively built around controlled experimentation, runtime evidence, adaptive stability and safe performance engineering.
More optimization capabilities can be introduced as they pass the project's safety and validation requirements.
