Welcome to Fast Travel Hub, where you can quickly travel 1000s of blocks through your world through portals. Each block in the hub dimension equals 128 in the overworld, which makes it 16 times faster than the Nether.
To start, craft a "Portal Opener" with 1 diamond surrounded by 8 iron ingots. You can then throw it on the ground to open a portal to the Travel Hub. Remember, you need 2 portals in the Travel Hub in order to actually fast travel, but your portals will always remain, so you can escape if you forget to bring your second portal opener.
Now, throw the second portal opener in the Travel Hub dimension, a few blocks away from your first. This will create a new one.
To link places in the overworld, you will have to create portals at each one and make paths between them in the Travel Hub.
