A lightweight client-side mod for Minecraft that speeds up crafting through the recipe book.
Normally, the recipe book can only place a recipe's ingredients into the crafting grid — you still have to grab the finished item yourself. This mod removes that extra step:
The mod uses a Mixin into RecipeBookComponent (the client-side recipe book class):
tryPlaceRecipe — if the clicked recipe is already placed in the grid (lastPlacedRecipe) and craftable, instead of placing it again the mod calls MultiPlayerGameMode#handleContainerInput with ContainerInput.QUICK_MOVE on the result slot (index 0), which is equivalent to the player shift-clicking the finished item.tick() polls the physical state of the left mouse button and Shift key via GLFW (through Window and an accessor mixin on its private handle field) to implement button-holding and the "place all" modifier. The mod is client-side only and requires nothing on the server — every action goes through the game's normal packets (handleContainerInput, handlePlaceRecipe), so from the server's/anti-cheat's perspective it's indistinguishable from a player clicking normally.
RecipeBookMenu implementations with a different slot layout may need extra handling.
