Makes Farm & Charm stoves choose the most specific matching recipe when several recipes share ingredients.
A simpler bread recipe can win over the intended recipe even when the stove contains its additional ingredient. For example, dough, yeast and water can select farmers bread instead of Bakery crusty bread.
The original selector returns the first matching recipe. A recipe whose ingredients are a subset can therefore shadow a more specific recipe depending on list order.
No Steam & Steel progression or general balance adjustments are included.
Use matching addon versions on server and clients. This release targets the original NeoForge Farm & Charm 1.1.22 implementation. Bakery is needed only for the bread example, not for the selector fix itself.
These changes originated in Steam & Steel SMP, our custom Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge server pack. This addon is supplied separately from the full pack.
Farm & Charm is by satisfy and its contributors; Bakery is by the Let's Do team. The original mods and their assets keep their own licenses.
This is a beta release. The original in-pack changes come from the specific Steam & Steel server pack used and tested by our players. These newly packaged standalone addons have local code checks; compatibility with other packs still needs feedback.
The original recipe-order failure was reproduced. Both the previous in-JAR patch and the standalone transformed selector passed the same 648 assertions for recipe/input permutations, ties, missing ingredients, pooled quantities, preserved inventory and repeated selection. A new Minecraft gameplay session with this standalone package has not yet been tested.
If you encounter a crash, an error or unexpected behaviour, please leave a comment with your Minecraft, NeoForge, original-mod and addon versions, plus steps to reproduce the problem. Include a log after removing private details. We will investigate reported bugs and work on fixes.
