Extreme Clime is a Minecraft mod that adds dangerous weather events to make survival more challenging and immersive.
The first feature introduced is Acid Rain, a toxic storm that transforms normal rain into a hazardous environmental event that damages players and mobs.
If you enjoy harder survival, environmental hazards, and dynamic weather, this mod adds a new layer of danger to storms.
During certain storms, rain becomes acidic, creating a dangerous environment across the world.
When Acid Rain occurs:
Players take damage when exposed to the rain
Hostile and passive mobs are affected
The sky and atmosphere turn toxic green
Acid rain particles fall during the storm
Toxic ambient sounds enhance the atmosphere
Taking shelter under blocks or inside structures will protect you from the rain.
This event makes storms more threatening and adds tension to exploration and survival.
You can control the event using commands:
/extremeclime acid start <seconds>
Starts an Acid Rain storm.
/extremeclime acid stop
Stops the Acid Rain event.
/extremeclime acid color <color>
Change color the Acid Rain.
Extreme Clime includes several configurable options:
Acid rain damage
Damage interval
Mob damage radius
Broadcast messages
Roof protection behavior
Color Rain
This allows server owners and players to balance the difficulty.
