Extra Critters its a mod that aims to expand Minecraft gameplay with new features, mechanics and things to do.

 

The principal objective of this mod is to bring nostalgic vibes from old mods like OreSpawn (note that the mod it has nothing to do with orespawn mod creator or other inspired mods) and improve the vanilla minecraft experience.

 

This mod NEEDS GeckoLib to Work, else, it will crash Minecraft.

 

Content in the Mod:

 

Entitys

 

- Growler - A big prehistoric creature that can be found trapped inside Permafrost Ice, in frozen biomes. One of his habilitys is do a roar that boosts his stats adding some passive effects like strength.

- Giant Ant - A giant version of an ant, this critter can be found on giant ant caverns made of mud bricks in swamp-like biomes. He can leap at his enemy, amd when attacked all the other Ants will try to attack the enemy.

- Peacock - A colorful bird that can be found on sparse jungles in his nests. His feathers are used for fans.

 

Items and Blocks

 

- Growler Tooth - A special drop from the growler, can be used for growler knife.

- Growler Knife - A tool like a sword, but faster.

- Amethyst Tools - Made from amethyst, this tools can be used like all other tools, dont have nothing special.

- Amethyst Armor - When the full set is equipped it grants Health Boost II to the entity wearing it.

- Ant Antler - Drop from ants.

- Ant Jaw - Drop from ants.

- Ant Smasher - A tool made from ant drops, can deal extra damage to ants.

- Bird Cage - Used to trap parrots, phantoms and bats. (do NOT do this in real life)

- Bird Glove - When left clicked a parrot, phantom or bat will catch it and convert it into an item.

- Blue Cheese - Rare type of cheese.

- Butter - Grants Regeneration to the player that consumed it.

- Cheese - Just food.

- Chicken Nugget - Just a nugget made from cooked chicken.

- Bacon - A fast to eat food, is also faster to cook.

- Corn - A crop that spawns in Savannah Biome, it can grow up to 3 blocks.

- Copper Horn - A horn made with copper and growler teeth, it will give effects to the player when used.

- Crystal Corn - Just crystalized corn.

- Emerald Tools - Just normal diamond like tools.

- Emerald Pickaxe - When crafted or used will auto enchant with Silk Touch.

- Emerald Armor - Just a normal armor with more resistance.

- Emerald Saber - A faster sword.

- Popcorn Bag - Can be used with any popcorn type.

- Popcorn (Honey, Common and Butter) - Just food, every corn has a special effect except the common one.

- Permafrost - Just a ice block, but from the past.

- Melted Cheese - Cooked cheese.

- Peacock Fan - A faster tool, when right clicked it will make the player make a bigger jump, can be used to double jump.

- Peacock Feather - Can be dropped by peacocks or found on chests.

- Ruby - A special amethyst-like crystal, can spawn on geodes with raw copper and tuff.

- Sulphur - Can spawn in caves and is not very usefull.

- Sulphur Torch - Can be used like a normal torch but can be placed underwater.

- Thunder Staff - Need to charge with a nether star.

- Tourmaline - A gem-like that spawns in

veins.

- Tourmaline Tools - Just common tools.
