# EvolutionsCraft
**From a Stone Age campfire to an Iron Age town, then on to the stars.**
You begin with a torn contract, a campfire and two settlers. Lead your tribe through the ages: gather, build, discover, trade and fight, and grow your little camp into a busy town. Your people work, eat, sleep, fall in love, raise children and mourn their dead. Above it all, a night sky full of strange worlds waits for the day your tribe is ready to reach them.
---
## 🔥 Found your tribe
- Use the **Torn Contract** to light your tribal campfire. Your first two settlers join you.
- **Talk to your settlers** to give them jobs: gather wood, stone, food, water, straw or sticks, mine ore, build, cook, farm, herd animals, heal as a shaman, guard the camp, or smith.
- Turn on **Auto Collect** and idle settlers look after the tribe's needs by themselves.
- Settlers have **health, hunger, water, stamina and mood**. Look at one to see how they're doing.
- At night they sleep in **thatch tents**, two to a tent. Couples have **children**, who grow up into new settlers.
- **Wanderers** arrive and ask to join your tribe.
## 🏕️ Grow your camp
- Upgrade from **Small Camp → Camp → Large Camp → Village → Town**. Each size has more room to build and more people.
- Your campfire grows grander with every upgrade.
- Build from the campfire's menu: **Thatch Tents, Wells, Smokehouses, Watchtowers, Market Squares and Forges**. Your settlers carry the materials over and put them up piece by piece.
- **Move any building** whenever you like: right-click it with an empty hand.
- Settlers wear paths between the buildings, and the paths improve with each age: **dirt paths, then cobbled paths, then stone roads**. Each kind is faster to walk on.
## 🧪 Discover your way through the ages
- Your tribe learns by doing. Cooking, mining, hunting, farming and smelting all lead to **discoveries** that unlock new recipes, buildings and jobs.
- **Stone Age:** primitive tools, spears and slings, knapping, weaving, pottery, farming, herbalism.
- **Bronze Age:** mine copper and tin, melt them together in a **clay furnace**, and make bronze tools, weapons, armour and chariots.
- **Iron Age:** burn charcoal, build a **bloomery** (an ordinary furnace can't smelt iron any more), and forge iron tools and armour. A **blacksmith** mends your tribe's worn tools at the anvil.
- The **Quest Book** guides you through every age, step by step, with rewards.
## 🌦️ A living world
- **Four seasons** change the colours of the land, the weather, crops and animals. Winter is harsh.
- New wildlife to hunt and fish: **deer, birds, mackerel, sea bass and tuna**.
- On winter nights, **wolf packs and bears** come for your camp. Build palisades and watchtowers, and train guards.
- **Rival tribes** live out in the world. Trade with them at the trading post, give them gifts, make allies… or face their raids.
## 🌌 The sky above
- A new night sky: a glowing band of the galaxy, coloured stars, and **five planets** hanging in it like little blocks: the red world of Ferros, green Verdara, frozen Glacia, burning Pyros and the ringed giant Aurelion.
- Look at them through a **spyglass** to learn their names. One day, your tribe will travel there…
## ⛏️ Smart settlers
- Settlers find their way around camp, open doors, swim, keep off the fields and climb out of holes.
- Miners dig a staircase mine and **light it with torches** they make from coal and sticks.
