Themelios, meaning “Foundation Stone”, is the lighter companion to ERYDON. It keeps the core building materials and texture style of ERYDON, but focuses on simpler, lower-complexity block shapes for players who want a smaller and more performance-conscious building set.
It is designed for builders who like ERYDON’s stone, marble, herringbone, rusticated, aged, ashlar, weave, and metallic-inlay materials, but do not need the full decorative shape library from the main mod.
Themelios includes a broad foundation set of architectural blocks, including:
The block set is intended for clean, repeatable building: floors, façades, walls, columns, courtyards, interiors, foundations, town builds, temples, villas, and large decorative structures.
Full ERYDON (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/erydon) is the larger decorative architecture mod, with more complex shapes and expanded ornamental systems.
Themelios is the streamlined version. It excludes the heavier and more specialised content, such as clusters and complex geometry, while keeping the core material palette and the main builder-friendly shapes along with some basic shape equivalents, like a cylinder in place of circular columns.
Choose Themelios if you want the ERYDON look with a lighter block set.
Choose full ERYDON if you want the complete decorative architecture library.
Themelios uses built-in 32× resources by default and is compatible with the ERYDON resource packs:
All three sets of resources - 16x, 32x and 64x - include specular PBR detail however the PBR detail level increases along with texture details to include normal, specular, porosity and height-style texture support where applicable.
It may also be used alongside ERYDON if you would like to use the basic shapes equivalents, which ERYDON does not include.
Continuity support is bundled inside Themelios, so players do not need to install Continuity separately.
Themelios also includes compatibility handling so the ERYDON resource packs can work cleanly with Themelios block IDs.
Iris, Sodium and Indium along with a compatible PBR shader is recommended and required for the extra PBR detailing.
The mod is required on both client and server for multiplayer.
You may include Themelios in modpacks.
