When the Wither works for players, it may leave Wither Skulls in unloaded chunks. Excessive accumulation of these skulls can cause lag, unresponsiveness, or even crashes when reloading those chunks.
This mod limits the existence time of Wither Skulls to 6 seconds (without affecting normal Wither battles).
If your world is already polluted with excessive Wither Skulls, loading this mod will remove them when loading previously saved chunks.
During testing:
~5,000 skulls were removed instantly
~30,000 skulls took about 4 minutes to remove completely
Removal speed scales with quantity (Tested on i7-9700 CPU)
Note: After installing this mod, you can no longer summon Wither Skulls using commands.
This mod can be added to modpacks.

Built for 1.20.1, but should theoretically work on all versions above 1.18.
