Elemental Realms is a progression-driven adventure mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric) that sends you on a journey through four elemental dimensions — each with unique biomes, fearsome bosses, exclusive loot, and a living NPC guide who tracks your every conquest.
A mysterious cartomancer named Ardyn appears near your spawn at the start of every new world. He carries an Elemental Cartograph — a living map that reveals the locations of ancient structures as you progress. Your goal: conquer three elemental realms, collect their relics, forge the Elemental Frame, and then face the god that stands at the end of it all.
Every item you earn along the way is Soulbound — it survives your death, cannot be dropped or transferred into chests, and stays with you until you use it.
When you spawn a new world, Cartomancer Ardyn will appear a few blocks in front of you. Right-click him to begin your journey.
He will give you two things:
Talk to Ardyn again at any time to check your current stage and refresh your map coordinates.

A frozen tundra of blue ice and glacial rock. Home to the Crystal Frost Warden boss and its arena, the Frozen Crystal Sanctum.
A scorched nether biome of scorched stone, ember grass, and molten crystal. The Pyrolizard rules from the Volcanic Heart Forge.
A dark, fog-choked swampland. The Voidmarsh Serpent sleeps beneath the bog, waiting to be awakened at its summoning altar.
A serene highland biome that holds the Aether Convergence Ruin — a structure with convergence orbs that light up as you defeat each boss. The final boss fight happens here.
Talk to Ardyn. Receive the Elemental Cartograph and Elemental Bag. Your first target: the Frostveil Expanse.
Find the Frozen Crystal Sanctum (shown on your Cartograph, or use /locate structure elementalrealms:frozen_crystal_sanctum).
Right-click the Crystal Altar inside to seal the arena and begin the fight.
Crystal Frost Warden — 400 HP
Drops:
Talk to Ardyn. He will detect the Frost Core in your inventory and advance you to Stage 2.
Enter the Nether and find the Pyroclast Wastes biome. The Volcanic Heart Forge structure contains the Pyrolizard.
You must have the Frost Core in your inventory to survive the Pyroclast Wastes heat.
Right-click the Pyro Altar to begin the fight.
Pyrolizard — Boss
Drops:
Talk to Ardyn. He will detect the Fire Tail and advance you to Stage 3.
Find the Voidmarsh biome. Locate the Void Serpent Summoning Altar (shown on your Cartograph).
Hold your Fire Tail and right-click the altar. This ignites it and opens the Void Ritual Arena — a 56×56 pool surrounded by voidstone walls with a dome that closes over you.
Voidmarsh Serpent — 500 HP — 4 Phases
Phase 1 (100%–66% HP): Abyssal Lunge, Tail Slam, Void Bubble Barrage, and Bite (grabs and holds you for 2 damage every 10 ticks — sprint away to deal 15 damage to it and escape).
Phase 2 (66%–40% HP): Void Whirlpool (pulls you inward), Coil Trap (wraps around you). Four Void Ritual Altars appear on the arena edge — the Serpent is immune until you destroy all four.
Phase 2.5 — Pillar Phase (40% HP): The Serpent becomes fully invincible. Six Void Pillars rise from the pool, each topped with a Void Ritual Altar cap. The Void Maelstrom ability pulls all players toward the centre and deals scaling damage. Destroy all six pillar caps to remove immunity.
Phase 3 (33% HP): Devouring Dive (crashes into the pool), Void Roar (area damage), Corrupted Rain (drops void projectiles from above). The Serpent's remaining altar blocks shatter automatically.

Talk to Ardyn. He advances you to Stage 4 and tells you to craft the Elemental Frame.
Craft the Elemental Frame using:
(Check the in-game recipe book or JEI for the exact layout.)
Talk to Ardyn. He detects the Frame and advances you to Stage 5, unlocking the Celestial Convergence Ruin on your Cartograph.
Travel to the Celestial Glade biome and find the Aether Convergence Ruin.
The ruin has three outer pedestals — one for each boss you defeated. Each pedestal's orb glows automatically when the corresponding boss is dead. All three must be lit.
When all three outer orbs glow, right-click the central pedestal while holding your Elemental Frame to summon Aurelion, Triarch of the Three Aspects.
Aurelion — Final Boss — 800 HP
You will be given a Triarch Blade at the start of the fight (deals bonus holy damage + Glowing effect on hit). It is removed when the fight ends.

Crafted by upgrading Netherite armor with Hallowed Smithing Templates and Hallowed Ingots:
All pieces are Soulbound.
Crafted from the Elemental Core (which requires the Soul of the Four Elements). The ultimate weapon.

Note: Biomes only generate in new worlds created after installing the mod. The Pyroclast Wastes is a Nether biome — run /locate biome while inside the Nether.

My Frost Core / boss drops disappeared on death!
All progression items are Soulbound and survive death automatically. They cannot be dropped or moved into external containers.
The biomes aren't generating in my world.
Elemental biomes only appear in worlds created after the mod is installed. Create a new world to see them.
I can't find Ardyn.
Ardyn spawns once per world, 3 blocks in front of the first player to log in. If your world was loaded by a different player first, walk around your spawn area. He persists permanently — he cannot be killed.
The Pyroclast Wastes keeps killing me.
You need the Frost Core (from the Crystal Frost Warden) in your inventory. It acts as protection against the biome's extreme heat.
