If you're here, you're probably tired of "earthquake" mods that just shake your screen and call it a day. I wanted to create something that actually feels dangerous—where the ground doesn't just rumble, it rips open.
I built this because I wanted realistic geological events. When an earthquake hits in this mod, it carves actual fissures into the terrain.
Let's be real: destroying thousands of blocks in seconds usually kills a server. I spent a lot of time optimizing this so it doesn't turn your PC into a heater.
Embeddium (Highy Recommended): While not strictly required, I strongly suggest running this with Embeddium. It handles rendering way better than vanilla, and when you're tearing up chunks of the map, you'll want that extra stability.
Commands: You have full control over the chaos.
/earthquake start - Fires a standard quake./earthquake start <intensity> <duration> <radius> - If you want to customize it. (Intensity goes up to 20, but maybe start small?)/earthquake stop - panic button to stop the destruction. This is built for Forge 1.20.1 and needs Java 17. It's designed to be server-friendly, but please be careful with the high-intensity settings on weaker hardware.
Enjoy the chaos! (And maybe don't build your base on a fault line.)
