🥫 CUSTOM FOOD & DRINK EXPANSION
Tired of Vanilla Minecraft’s boring, repetitive food mechanics? This detail-focused food and beverage expansion was built from scratch specifically for a custom, highly optimized private modpack.
Instead of basic 2D items or plain cubic shapes, this project utilizes custom Blockbench mesh geometry and GeckoLib rendering to introduce fully realized, high-fidelity 3D models with true-to-life physical states.
🥤 BEVERAGES & DYNAMICS
🔴 Coca-Cola & 🟠 Fanta
Usage: Right-click to consume, featuring custom drinking animations and sound effects.
Status Effects: Delivers a quick sugar rush upon consumption (Speed I for a short duration).
State Transition Mechanics: Finishing a drink doesn't just clear the item—it leaves behind an accurately crushed, empty aluminum can model.
💡 Visual Realism: Empty cans don't use simple scaled-down cubes. They feature custom mesh deformations—dented midsections, popped pull-tabs, and bent silhouettes created with custom vertex editing.
