DNA Genesis
Ever wanted to fly like a phantom, teleport like an enderman, or shrug off fire like a blaze? DNA Genesis lets you extract the DNA of almost any mob in the game and inject it into yourself to gain a piece of what makes them tick — no crafting a dozen throwaway potions, no guesswork. Just sample it, process it, and become it.
How It Works
- Sample — right-click a living creature with an Empty Syringe. It turns into a labeled blood sample (bosses need to be defeated at least once first).
- Process — drop the sample into an Extraction Station. It takes a few minutes to finish, and the odds of getting pure DNA out depend on how rares the creature was.
- Inject — right-click with the finished DNA syringe to gain its powers. You can only have one active DNA at a time, so choose what fits your playstyle.
- Level up — every DNA starts at a base tier the moment you inject it. Complete creature-specific missions (kill counts, item turn-ins, survival challenges) to unlock two further tiers of stronger abilities. Changed your mind? A Purifying Serum lets you clear your active DNA and start over with something else.

- 63 creatures, fully implemented — every mob and both end-game bosses (Wither, Ender Dragon) have their own hand-tuned ability set across 3 tiers.
- A real risk/reward extraction loop — the harder the mob, the better the payoff, but the higher the chance your sample goes to waste.
- A built-in guide book — a full in-game manual (Patchouli) documents every single ability with exact numbers and percentages, not vague flavor text.
- English, Portuguese and Spanish out of the box.
Requirements
A Note on Balance
DNA Genesis is under active development. All 63 creatures are fully playable, but ability numbers are a first pass — expect tuning passes as more people play it. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome.
