Desperate Measures gives you early game options for food and starvation. Now those pesky mobs that try to kill you in the night can be used to sustain you the next night. Rotten Flesh, Spider Eyes, Bones and even Gunpowder can now be combined into different food sources to keep you going. Desperate Measures is a great addition to any hardcore survival pack giving you a system to keep the player alive while not making it too easy too survive.
