Before the world was swallowed by endless tides, there stood a radiant civilization beneath the waves, The City of the Drowned.
It was here that the Deepborne once dwelled, a people who harnessed the breath of the ocean and the whispers of souls. In their pursuit of forbidden power, they forged the Enchanted Stones, crystalline relics born from the fusion of magic and the sea’s very essence.
When The Depths rose and the great flood consumed their world, the city vanished into the abyss, its towers now entombed beneath layers of salt and silence. Yet the stones endured, pulsing faintly within the ruins, echoes of a power long lost.
Ancient tales warn that any who unearth and awaken these stones may summon the strength of the sunken, but will also bear the Curse of Yun’Shul, the eternal mark of The Depths.
To begin, you must craft a Baneful Syrinx.
It requires certain conditions to awaken listen closely. When it stirs, it will whisper the location of the Shrine of Yun’Shul, Keeper of Hearts, hidden far beneath the depth ocean.
On your search, seek out the shipwrecks shattered by the mysterious forces of the deep. One of these shipwreck may have once discovered the Moonseye Tome, only to be dragged down by its curse of the depth. Return the Tome to the depth ocean, to the place it has always belonged.
Once the Tome is surrendered, a whirlpool will rise.
Offer it an abundance of fish. In exchange, it will grant you aberrations fish from the true depth yet its gift comes with a price: the Curse of the Depth will cling to you.
Then, take those depth ocean offerings and present them to Yun’Shul, Keeper of Hearts.
If he is pleased, you shall earn a Sunken Enchant Stone.
Break it open, and the Depth itself will choose an enchantment that resonates with your soul.
