Deep Industry
Grow a small workshop into an automated industrial complex, then build machines powerful, and dangerous, enough to deserve respect. Launch rockets into orbit, fight a six-block war machine, chase tornadoes and catch lightning to power your base.
Progression in six stages
- Early engineering: crushers, electric furnaces, generators, cables, batteries and a connected storage network.
- Industrialization: steel and aluminium, a multiblock foundry with casting, solar, wind, geothermal and steam power, a quarry, and conveyor belts with robotic arms.
- Precision engineering: powered tools, a modular exo-suit, jetpacks that fly on real thrust, and autocrafting through your actual machines.
- Nuclear: fission reactors with meltdowns and recovery, housed in containment rooms you build yourself, with radiation and fallout.
- End engineering: fusion reactor, forcefields, a particle accelerator, a precision miner, wireless storage and long-range logistics relays.
- Singularity: a black-hole generator held in graviton containment, fed with matter to make enormous power.
Highlights
- Rockets and satellites: a countdown, ignition and a smoky lift-off into orbit. A Solar Power Satellite beams power down to your receiver dish day and night.
- A boss fight: the Forgeheart Colossus, a fully animated war machine with telegraphed attacks, drones and a second phase. Its spoils make Titan armour, the Forgeheart Greatsword and the Seismic Hammer.
- Severe weather: storms that build and drift across the world, with hail, blizzards, hurricanes and tornadoes that tear up the land. Track them with a weather radar, sound the siren, and harvest their lightning.
- Meteor showers and auroras: meteors streak across the night sky and crash down, leaving Meteorite and Starmetal. Auroras ripple over snowy lands.
- Gadgets: Tesla Coils, Quantum Pad teleporters, a Vortex Cannon, an orbital Ion Cannon, a Grapple Gun, and Guardian Drones that fly at your shoulder and defend you.
- Enchanting done properly: the Enchantment Synthesizer gives you exactly the enchantment and level you choose. There are eight new enchantments and themed armour sets.
- Big machines you can see from across your base: glowing reactors, a fusion beam lighting the sky, molten foundries and high-voltage power lines strung between pylons.
- Containment that matters: breaches and failures spread through real openings in your walls.
- Glass pipes and cables that show items, fluids and energy moving through them.
- Storage and autocrafting: plan any craft, see what's missing, and let your machines do the work.
- 3D everything: armour, tools, weapons, jetpacks, sliding blast doors, and 3D icons in your inventory.
- Exploration: prospecting tools, deep ore deposits worked by a Laser Drill, and abandoned facilities with loot.
- Decorate your base: plasma globes, warning beacons, spinning flywheels, starmetal lanterns, steel grating and hazard stripes.
- Field Manual: an in-game guide with live recipes and structure diagrams, plus a Structure Planner to help you build.
Configurable
Destruction from meltdowns and tornadoes is configurable, and a single command turns the weather off entirely, which is handy for servers. Flashing effects can be switched off in the client settings.
Requirements: Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Install it on both the server and every client.
