CS2-inspired cases, collectible 3D items and music kits for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.
Open animated cases, discover rarity-colored rewards and collect music you can play in a vanilla jukebox. CS2 Lootbox combines a CS-style opening interface with KubeJS customization for modpacks and multiplayer servers.
Rewards are selected and validated by the server. The carousel presents the result, and closing an opening screen after a committed roll preserves the pending prize.
Built-in weapon rewards currently use Minecraft items as placeholders for the CS-style loot table. You can replace those rewards with items from your modpack through KubeJS.
CS2 Lootbox v1.1.0+ includes definitions for 100 music kits and 1,548 tracks, enabled by optional music resource packs here: MusicKits
Right-click a kit to open its CS2-style listening screen. Select a song, view its artwork and playback progress, and use Previous/Next, Play/Stop or Pause/Resume. Save the selected track to your kit, then insert it into a vanilla jukebox to play it from the beginning. Ejecting the disc or breaking the jukebox returns the kit with its saved selection.
Music kits use shared 3D sleeve-and-record models with their own textures. Music volume follows Minecraft's Jukebox/Note Blocks slider, and the supplied tracks use mono audio for distance attenuation.
Choose individual kit packs or the Full Collection ZIP to install the registered collection together. Audio and listening-screen artwork stay in optional resource packs; the mod supplies the definitions, shared geometry and model atlases. Kits become available when their required resources are enabled.
Add new cases, edit built-in loot tables, register custom 3D rewards or create your own music kits using CS2LootboxEvents.register.
Examples are included in the project's documentation. Startup-script changes require a full game restart; multiplayer clients and servers need matching definitions.
mods folder.cs2lootbox-music-full.zip in resourcepacks, then enable it in Options > Resource Packs.kubejs/startup_scripts and restart the game.Required dependencies: ApocalypseLib 1.2.0+, KubeJS 2001.6.5-build.16+, GeckoLib 4.8.4+, GeckoMesh 1.1+ and LDLib 1.0.52.a+. Install KubeJS's required dependencies as well. The mod uses Java 17 and Forge 47.x.
For multiplayer, install matching mod versions and KubeJS scripts on the client and server. Music packs are client resources; dedicated servers do not need them. Every player needs the corresponding audio resources to hear a kit's jukebox playback.
