Forget about tilling dirt with a hoe—Twilight Forest resources demand far sturdier ground. To grow these materials, you’ll need tough farmlands :
These aren’t created with standard tools. To convert obsidian, crying obsidian, or deadrock into usable tough farmland, grab a diamond pickaxe or netherite pickaxe and right-click the base block. This action "tills" the hard material into a farm-ready plot, primed for planting.
Unlike wheat, carrots, or potatoes that thrive with nearby water, these tough farmlands rely on something far hotter to stay fertile. To keep your Twilight crops growing steadily, you must moisten the farmlands with magma instead of water. Position magma sources adjacent to your tough farmlands to ensure they remain active—dry plots will stall growth, so plan your farm layout around this fiery necessity.
