Crochet provides Entity Data & Networking tools for Fabric mods. It does nothing on its own, but if you are a developer, you can use it to easily send packets or save data on players. There is an extensive tutorial on GitHub which should help you get started with the API.
Crochet requires the Fabric Modloader.
