Bring your Create addons into one fuel network.
One fuel network for your entire Create factory. Produce diesel, ethanol, gasoline or hydrogen in one Create addon — and use it in compatible engines, burners, trains and fueling systems from another. Create: Unified Fuels connects the fuel systems of popular Create addons without replacing their machines, fluids or production chains. What it does
Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge · Create 6.x
| Addon | What CUF connects |
|---|---|
| Create: Diesel Generators | Diesel, modular, and huge generators; burners, lighters, and lit chemical sprayers. Liquid fuels receive shared energy-based consumption. Fuel gases work in supported combustion tools and burners, not liquid-only generators. |
| Create: The Factory Must Grow | Engines and cylinders, large engines, fireboxes, blast stoves, and flamethrowers. Fuel compatibility follows liquid/gas hardware requirements, with shared energy values and balanced consumption. |
| Create: TFMG Community Edition | The same supported consumer families, adapted to CE's fuel registries and cylinder system. Gas-capable cylinders accept the supported fuel gas families. |
| Create Crafts & Additions | Liquid Blaze Burner fuels with shared burn durations and regular or superheated operation. Native lava and crude-oil uses are preserved. |
| Create: Liquid Fuel | Liquid burner compatibility for both modern and legacy fuel formats, with shared durations and heat tiers. |
| Create: Steam 'n' Rails | Liquid and gaseous train fuels from mounted tanks, with shared burn times. Fuel can be found even when another tank contains water or an unsuitable fluid. |
| Create: Stuff & Additions | Small, medium, and large Fueling Tanks, plus energy-based refueling of compatible equipment. Fractional fuel use is retained, and full equipment does not waste fuel. |
| Create: Petrochem | Diesel and gasoline engines accept supported liquid fuels; gas turbines accept supported fuel gases. Equivalent fuels share the same balance in the same consumer, while native steam use is preserved. |
All listed addons are optional. Install whichever ones your modpack uses.
Use either original TFMG or Community Edition, not both: they share the same mod ID. CUF supports both editions, but individual engines still require suitable cylinders and equipment.
CUF 1.1.0 recognizes 25 fuel entries across 14 shared families, supplied by Diesel Generators, TFMG/TFMG CE, Crafts & Additions, and Petrochem:
Ethanol and bioethanol use one shared fuel family. Plant oil and seed oil also share a family. Available fluids and their production routes depend on your installed addons and enabled recipes.
The same fuel has the same useful-energy value in the same consumer, regardless of its source addon. Different fuels have different energy values, so weaker fuels generally run out sooner.
Different machines retain their own output and efficiency. A fuel therefore does not have one universal runtime in every engine, burner, or train. Refining remains worthwhile, while less efficient fuels and industrial byproducts still have useful applications.
Gas compatibility depends on the consumer. Gas-capable TFMG cylinders and Petrochem turbines accept the supported fuel gases. Liquid-only engines do not. Thermal consumers, compatible fueling equipment, and train fueling support both liquids and fuel gases.
The balance is designed for gameplay with a physically informed energy ordering. It is not a full simulation of combustion, gas pressure, or real-world engine conversions.
Crude oil remains limited to its native applications. It is not added to CUF's universal fuel pool.
Refinery intermediates, heavy oil, lubricants, acids, and other process chemicals are excluded from ordinary fuel compatibility. Native steam use in Petrochem, napalm and molten slag in TFMG flamethrowers, and existing lava uses remain separate.
Solid fuels are outside CUF's current scope.
Open Create's config screen → Other Mods → Create: Unified Fuels, or edit:
config/create_unified_fuels-common.toml
The settings screen includes fuel search, liquid/gas filters, separate fuel and integration pages, and a useful-energy preview. Changes can be applied or discarded, and individual fuel groups can be restored to their defaults.
You can:
Restart the world or server after applying changes. A regular /reload does not fully rebuild TFMG's dynamic fuel registries. In multiplayer, gameplay rules must be configured on the server.
When updating to 1.1.0, CUF backs up the common config before migrating unchanged old balance defaults. Customized balance values and enable/deny choices are preserved. Ethanol and bioethanol now intentionally use the shared ethanol balance.
Create is the required mod dependency. Supported addons are optional and retain their own dependency requirements, which may require newer Create or NeoForge versions.
This release targets NeoForge. It is not a Forge or Fabric build.
