Pain Shock Mechanic

Dangerous Shafts introduces a simple pain shock mechanic.

When a player is injured by a rotating shaft or cogwheel, they will suffer from:

• Blindness
• Weakness
• Slowness

The player is also knocked away from the source of the impact, simulating a natural reflexive reaction to sudden danger.
