CosmeticsLite is a lightweight cosmetic and utility mod that adds visual customization, interactive systems, and optional mini games to Minecraft while remaining performance friendly.
The mod is primarily client-focused, with optional server-side support for multiplayer environments where permissions, visibility control, or synchronization are required. All cosmetic features are designed to be gameplay-neutral and non-intrusive.
CosmeticsLite allows players to personalize their appearance using wearable hats and capes, cosmetic pets that follow the player, and visual particle effects that can be attached to players. These cosmetics are purely visual and do not affect gameplay balance or mechanics.
The Particle Lab is an advanced in-game particle editor intended for creators, staff, and administrators. It allows users to create, customize, and preview particle effects directly in Minecraft. Particle behavior such as color, movement style, speed, spread, and layering can be adjusted, with a live preview system for immediate feedback.
On multiplayer servers, access to Particle Lab features can be restricted or limited by server operators to ensure consistent visual style and performance.
CosmeticsLite includes built-in permission checks for server environments. These permissions are controlled through standard operator levels or permission plugins.

Opens the CosmeticsLite main menu.
/cosmetics particles
Accesses the Particle Lab (permission restricted).
/cosmetics reload
Reloads cosmetic and particle definitions (staff/admin).
/cosmetics reset <player>
Resets a player’s active cosmetics (staff/admin).
/cosmetics give <player> <cosmetic>
Grants a specific cosmetic to a player (staff/admin).
Server operators can restrict who may edit particle effects, who may use custom particles, and which cosmetics are visible or selectable on the server.
CosmeticsLite includes a collection of built-in mini games accessible directly from the mod interface. These games are fully self-contained and do not affect the main game world or player progression.
Included mini games are Mini Snake, Mini Minesweeper, Slide Puzzle, Memory Match, Marble Tilt, Battleship, Mini Centipede, and a Mini Roguelike.
Mini games support persistent score tracking, including best scores and most recent scores where applicable. Games with unique mechanics track relevant statistics such as wins, losses, depth reached, or number of moves.
CosmeticsLite features a clean, consistent in-game user interface with an integrated hub for cosmetics, the Particle Lab, and mini games. All configuration and interaction happens directly in Minecraft, with no external launchers or tools required.
CosmeticsLite is designed to be efficient and lightweight. While the mod is client-focused, installing it on the server is recommended for multiplayer environments where cosmetic permissions, synchronization, or visibility control are desired. The mod is safe for use on multiplayer servers and does not provide gameplay advantages.
CosmeticsLite targets Minecraft 1.20.1 using Forge 47.4.0.
All cosmetics are optional and visual only. Mini games are standalone and do not impact progression. Particle Lab access can be restricted by server operators. Additional features and refinements may be introduced in future updates.
