True Transfur

An addon for Changed that turns transfur into a real survival experience. You stay a real player — but you live, fight, eat, die and are reborn as a creature.

What does it do?

Normally, Changed turns you into a creature but you still play like a human. True Transfur makes the transformation matter: you can hand your body over to creature instincts, you can fight your way back from death as a pup, and trying to cure yourself is deadly.

Two control modes

PLAYER

You control your transfurred body yourself: movement, camera and actions work as usual.

INSTINCT

Your creature acts on its own, like a real Changed mob, while you watch through its eyes.

• First person sees through the mob's eyes. Third person lets you look around freely.
• Your hand and held items sway, bob and swing together with the mob, including its attacks.
• The mob copies your look: eye style and color, hair color and sclera color.
• Eats by itself: when hungry or hurt, the mob takes food from your inventory or hotbar and eats it with full animations and sounds. Golden apples are saved for emergencies; bad food is skipped.
• You can also eat yourself, and throw snowballs, eggs, potions and XP bottles.
• Totem of Undying works and is actually consumed.
• Natural regeneration, regeneration effects and golden apples heal your mob.
• If another player hits your mob, it fights back.

Re-Born — fight for your life

When an adult Dark Latex Wolf reaches 0 HP, there is no death screen. Instead:

1. Fight for your life: you lie on the ground and have 10 seconds. Mash Space and fill the bar to at least 85%.
2. Can't go on? Hold Space for about 1.5 seconds to give up and die.
3. Falling asleep: if you win, the screen fades out, black latex spreads around you and a black latex crystal forms.
4. Waking up: after 10 seconds you return as a Dark Latex Wolf Pup.
5. Growing up: defeat 30 humanoids while standing near black latex to become an adult again. Progress shows in chat.

Re-Born also works in INSTINCT: if your mob dies, it starts for you. Pups die normally.

Transfur Loot Orb

When a transfurred player dies, their personal items go into a red Transfur Loot Orb, and the body drops the loot of the current form. Pick up the orb to get your belongings back. Human players are not affected.

Reversing transfur is deadly

Any attempt to reverse a transformation (cure items, magic, game mechanics) can kill you. There is no safe way out — except commands, which always work safely.

This can be turned off in the config. If Changed: Synergy is installed with its Native Origins rule enabled, True Transfur only applies to players who picked a native Changed origin; all other players play normally.

Mob behavior

• Neutrality (config): hostile mobs ignore transfurred players in both modes, unless attacked first. If disabled, mobs attack you normally, and your INSTINCT mob fights back against anything that targets it.
• Hidden nickname (config): you appear under your current form's name instead of your player name.

Configuration

File: config/true_transfur-common.toml (section [gameplay]). Restart the game or world after editing.

Commands always ignore the reverse-death setting.

• Changed 0.15.7+ — required.
• Changed: Synergy 1.1.4+ — supported.
• Changed Extras — optional. True Transfur replaces the Survival Guide book text to explain its mechanics.
• Changed Addon Plus — full support is planned.

Compatibility warning

INSTINCT uses AI. Mods that change mob AI, targeting, pathfinding or Changed's own mobs may change how your INSTINCT form behaves (odd targets, movement or fights). If something looks wrong, test without AI-changing mods first.

True Transfur (RU)

Что делает мод?

В обычном Changed вы становитесь существом, но играете как человек. True Transfur делает превращение значимым: можно отдать тело инстинктам, можно вернуться из смерти щенком, а попытка вылечиться смертельна.

Два режима управления

PLAYER

Вы сами управляете трансфурированным телом: движение, камера и действия как обычно.

INSTINCT

Существо действует само, как настоящий моб Changed, а вы смотрите его глазами.

• От первого лица вы видите глазами моба, от третьего можно свободно осматриваться.
• Рука и предметы качаются и бьют вместе с мобом, включая атаки.
• Моб копирует ваш облик: стиль и цвет глаз, цвет волос и склеры.
• Ест сам: при голоде или ранах моб берёт еду из инвентаря или хотбара и ест с анимациями и звуками. Золотые яблоки приберегаются на крайний случай, плохая еда пропускается.
• Можно есть самому и бросать снежки, яйца, зелья и пузырьки опыта.
• Тотем бессмертия работает и расходуется.
• Естественная регенерация, эффекты регенерации и золотые яблоки лечат моба.
• Если вашего моба ударил другой игрок, он даёт сдачи.

Re-Born — борьба за жизнь

Когда взрослый тёмный латексный волк достигает 0 HP, экрана смерти нет. Вместо него:

1. Борьба за жизнь: вы лежите на земле, есть 10 секунд. Жмите пробел, чтобы заполнить шкалу минимум на 85%.
2. Нет сил? Удерживайте пробел около 1,5 секунды, чтобы сдаться и умереть.
3. Засыпание: при успехе экран гаснет, вокруг растекается чёрный латекс и появляется кристалл.
4. Пробуждение: через 10 секунд вы возвращаетесь щенком тёмного латексного волка.
5. Взросление: победите 30 гуманоидов рядом с чёрным латексом, чтобы снова стать взрослым. Прогресс виден в чате.

Re-Born работает и в INSTINCT: если ваш моб погиб, процесс запускается для вас. Щенки умирают обычно.

Сфера добычи трансфура

При смерти трансфурированного игрока личные предметы попадают в красную сферу, а с тела выпадает добыча текущей формы. Подберите сферу, чтобы вернуть вещи. Люди не затрагиваются.

Обратная трансформация смертельна

Любая попытка обратить трансформацию (лекарства, магия, игровые механики) может убить вас. Безопасного выхода нет, кроме команд: они работают всегда.

Это отключается в конфиге. Если установлен Changed: Synergy с включённым правилом Native Origins, True Transfur действует только на игроков с родным происхождением Changed; остальные играют как обычно.

Поведение мобов

• Нейтралитет (конфиг): враждебные мобы не трогают трансфурированных игроков в обоих режимах, пока их не атакуют. Если выключен, мобы нападают как обычно, а ваш INSTINCT-моб отвечает всем, кто его атакует.
• Скрытый ник (конфиг): вместо ника отображается имя вашей формы.

Конфигурация

Файл: config/true_transfur-common.toml (раздел [gameplay]). После правки перезапустите игру или мир.

Команды всегда игнорируют настройку смерти.

• Changed 0.15.7+ — обязателен.

Предупреждение о совместимости

INSTINCT основан на ИИ. Моды, меняющие ИИ мобов, выбор целей, поиск пути или самих мобов Changed, могут изменить поведение вашей формы (странные цели, движение, бои). При проблемах сначала проверьте без таких модов.
