Ever since recruits recieved it's 1.13 update it is no longer compatible with better mob combat, and the mod itself didn't recieve any update in a year.
This unofficial fork focuses on fixing this compatibility issue and also fixes an issue with corpse mod where certain entities hitting corpses could cause severe crash loops.
- Recruits 1.13.5+ can now be loaded up with the mod
- Asynchronous pathfinding of the recruits no longer cause issues
- Attack behaviors slightly changed to make melee recruits aim better
- Corpse mod no longer cause crashes when modded mobs belonging to teams accidentally hit them while fighting
This fork is only for Minecraft 1.20.1 and the Forge mod loader. As the compatibility issues are only present on those versions specificly, no other version is planned for this fork.
Please use Better Combat version 1.8.6 or below as version 1.9+ has a chance to break animations for some mobs
If you do not plant to use Recruits in your modpack please use the Original Better Mob Combat Mod instead.
