Better Craftable Elytra

Better Craftable Elytra is a simple utility mod that introduces a deterministic, material-based crafting recipe for the Elytra. This provides an alternative progression path for players, allowing them to acquire flight capability without mandatory reliance on locating and looting an End Ship.

Required Components

The recipe for the Elytra is a shaped 3x3 recipe crafted on a standard workbench, requiring the following materials:

• 1x Diamond
• 2x Feathers
• 4x Phantom Membranes

The materials are arranged to suggest the shape of the finished item, with the Diamond serving as the core component, and the four Phantom Membranes defining the wing structure.

Features Overview

• Acquisition Alternative: Offers a reliable, non-loot-based method for obtaining the Elytra.
• Balanced Cost: The recipe requires late-game resources (Phantom Membranes) to ensure the item remains challenging and rewarding to acquire.
• Seamless Integration: Utilizes the default crafting table for simple implementation into survival gameplay and modpacks.
