Better Carpets aims to remove the restrictions you have when building with carpets! --Stairs missing some carpet? Crouch and place carpets on stairs to have the carpet now drape fully over the stairs! --Chest with a sign blocking the floor in front? You can now place carpets infront of chest that have a sign attached! (As well as putting carpet under the chest itself!) --Trying to use buttons for decoration or just have a low button? Just like signs, carpets now won't be affected by Buttons! --Any Blocks that dont cover the whole block on the floor? Any blocks like Anvils, Grindstones, etc that have a gap underneath to see the floor can now have carpets! --Indoor fences/walls messing up carpets? Now you can place carpets underneath fences and walls! --In addition carpets can now stack just like snow (one pixel per carpet so 16 can be stacked within one block!) --Flowers can also now be placed on Moss Carpets --I didn't find much of a use case but you can also place carpet in water without it destorying the water block.
New Capabilities --You can now customize carpets in the Loom just like Banners, in the same way you would for Banners! --Allows for all patterns to be used and stacked to make designs till your heart's content!
--Shift Click on a Pressure Plate to wrap the Pressure Plate in a Carpet --Shift Click a Carpet to Place the Pressure Plate on top
