Welcome to Bedrockium, a balanced progression mod built from the ground up for Minecraft Fabric 1.26.2. This mod adds a premium tier of late-game gear designed to bridge the massive gap between Diamond and Netherite, while introducing some game-changing rewards for true survival masters.
Here is exactly what is included and how everything works:
The Mining and Refining Loop:
- Bedrockium Ore: This is a rare new ore block that generates deep underground.
- Raw Bedrockium: To prevent infinite item duplication glitches, breaking the ore drops this raw chunk instead of the block itself. This means it fully supports your Fortune pickaxes to reward your mining trips safely.
- If you use a Silk Touch pickaxe, you will get the full Ore Block instead.
- Bedrockium Ingot: Pop your Raw Bedrockium or your full Ore Blocks straight into a standard Furnace or twice as fast in a Blast Furnace to melt them down into clean, refined ingots.
Balanced Tools and Armor Tier
If you are tired of jumping straight from Diamond to Netherite, this set of gear sits in the perfect mathematical sweet spot right between them.
The Tools: You can craft a Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe. They all feature a highly resilient 1,800 durability point capacity. They are faster than Diamond, but just a bit slower than Netherite, making them the ultimate mid-endgame toolset.
The Armor Set: You can craft a full set of protection including the Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots.
The Handheld Bedrockium Magnet:
This is the ultimate endgame utility device for miners and builders. Along with other recipes, you can find the image of the recipe in the gallery.
How it works: Hold the magnet in your hand and hold right click to pull all items in a 7x7x7 area towards you.
Craftable Bedrock
If you have ever wanted an entirely blast-proof base in survival mode, this is your ultimate reward. You can use this to build completely secure wither cages, explosion-proof bunkers, or ultimate traps legitimately in survival mode.
Dependencies and Technical Info
This mod runs on the Fabric mod loader for Minecraft version 1.26.2. Currently, there are no plans to port to forge/neoforge, and to support older versions. Newer versions have a possibility of being supported in the future. It requires the official Fabric API mod to be installed in your mods folder as well, otherwise your game will crash on startup.
