In Minecraft 1.12.2, players must sleep through the entire night to set a spawn point.This is very inconvenient.
This mod backports the bed mechanics from 1.15 to 1.12.2:
attempting to sleep during daytime now updates your spawn location!
Key Features
- Right-click a bed at any time to directly set your spawn point—no waiting for nighttime!
- After successfully changing the spawn point, the message "Respawn point set" will appear in chat.
- If the bed is obstructed by blocks that cause suffocation above it, you will see an error message "This bed is obstructed" and the spawn point will not be set.
