Apotheotic Hostility is a mod that bridges the gap between Apotheosis and L2Hostility, making the two mods work together in a meaningful way.
Mobs with higher L2Hostility levels now drop Apotheosis gems, with better rarities unlocking at higher level thresholds. The level thresholds and drop chances for each gem tier are fully configurable via datapack.
Apotheosis invaders now respect your progression. Higher tier invaders will only begin spawning once you reach the required difficulty level, making early game invasions more manageable and late game ones more threatening. Fully configurable via datapack.
Spawners can now be assigned a specific L2Hostility level, causing them to spawn mobs at that level rather than relying on the surrounding area's difficulty. This works just like any other field in Apotheosis-enhanced spawners — you can insert Hostility Essences into them to increase the level by 10.
Mobs can now spawn with Apotheosis affixed equipment. This applies globally across all mob equipment rather than being restricted to specific slots. Which mobs get affixed equipment and at what level thresholds is fully controlled by datapack.
New affixes and gems that interact directly with L2Hostility's systems:
A new curio charm that, when equipped, enables specific endgame gems to drop from mobs. These gems are locked behind strict requirements such as minimum mob level, minimum number of traits, or minimum number of legendary traits on the killed mob — making them endgame rewards. All drop rules, requirements, and chances are defined entirely through datapacks.
Specific gems can be locked so they only drop through loot modifiers, preventing them from appearing in the general gem drop pool. This ensures that any gem can be made as difficult to obtain as you want, simply set up your own loot modifier through a datapack
It should probably be clear by now, but nearly everything in this mod is driven by datapacks, giving developers full control over everything.
