Animal Crops Reborn is an unofficial port of Animal Crops by KnightMiner, updated to Minecraft 1.20.1.
This mod adds animal seeds and animal lilies — plant them to grow passive mobs over time!
Animal Seeds can be planted on grass blocks to grow land animals. Animal Lilies can be planted on water to grow aquatic animals. Animal Spores can be planted on mycelium to grow mushroom-like animals. Anemonemals can be planted on sea grass to grow ocean creatures.
By default, animal bushes rarely generate in the world and drop a random animal seed when broken. The mod is designed to be used in modpacks with custom recipes for each seed.
Using the config file, seeds can be added for any mob that has a spawn egg — including mobs from other mods like Twilight Forest, or even vanilla monsters like creepers and guardians. There are also options to configure right-click harvest, bone meal behavior, and additional seed drop chances.
