A Forge 1.20.1 mod where every player is randomly assigned either Angel or Demon when they join the server. Each role comes with unique passive traits, combat abilities, mobility powers, and a themed skill system. All abilities use custom keybinds configurable in the Minecraft controls menu.
Lightborne: Slight health regeneration when in sunlight.
Grace: Reduced fall damage and +10% movement speed.
Holy Resistance: Reduced damage from demons.
Healing Pulse (Keybind 1):
Emits a healing burst around the player, healing allies within a small radius.
Blinding Radiance (Keybind 2):
Emits a bright flash that blinds nearby enemies temporarily.
Heavenly Dash (Keybind 3):
A short forward dash with lingering particles of light.
Aerial Glide (Toggle Key):
Allows slow gliding through the air with glowing wings.
Infernal Fury: Increased melee damage when below half HP.
Shadow Vision: Ability to see clearly in the dark.
Fire Immunity: Immune to fire and lava damage.
Demonic Slash (Keybind 1):
A powerful melee attack with extended reach and a red particle trail.
Hellfire Burst (Keybind 2):
Shoots a small explosive fire projectile.
Shadow Step (Keybind 3):
A short-range teleport with a smoky animation.
Winged Leap (Toggle Key):
Grants a double-jump powered by demonic wings.
When a player joins for the first time:
They are randomly assigned either Angel or Demon (50/50).
Their role is stored (capability / persistent NBT) so it stays across relogs.
A floating text, particle effect, or GUI icon showing the player’s faction.
All abilities use custom Minecraft keybinds, such as:
G – Ability 1
H – Ability 2
V – Ability 3
R – Mode toggle (glide / winged leap)
Bindings appear in:
Options → Controls → Keybinds → “Angel & Demon Abilities” category
Cooldown system for abilities.
Particle effects matching light (angel) or fire/shadow (demon).
Config file allowing:
Adjusting cooldowns
Changing role assignment chance
Enabling/disabling specific abilities
Custom damage/healing values
