Welcome to Amethyst Revamped! This is a small mod that aims to give more uses to the Amethyst ore and make it more worth going out of your way and freeing-up inventory space to get it.
As of version 1.0.0, AR adds many useful and innovating features to the game of Minecraft. These features can be divided up to 2 categories and a special item.
AR adds Amethyst tools and armor to the game! These tools are a mid-game equipment, and they have stats that fit right in between Iron and Diamond tier, but they're not a requirement for progression. You can still skip over from iron to diamond if you'd like!

Aside from the gear you can obtain with this mod, you can also craft pretty-looking blocks to decorate your builds on your Minecraft world! These blocks include:

The Amethyst shield is a feature many other peopel suggested to be added, but I decdied to put my own spin on it. The Amethyst Shield is crafted with a regular shield and 3 Amethyst shards surrounding it. The way it works is that every time an entity attacks the wielder whilst the shield is being held up/blocking, the entity that attacked the wielder takes damage. This damage ranges from 3 (1 and a half hearts of damage) to 8 (4 hearts of damage) depending on the level of the Sharpness enchantment applied to the shield.

Well, it's simple! All you have to do is find an Amethyst geode, collect the Amethysts, and make the tools, armor and shield. Can't find a geode? No problem! I've also added Amethyst Ore blocks that act as regular ores, and give you Amethyst Shards.

Yes! I plan on adding a structure, mobs, a golem, a special tool, upgrades to Netherite, and much much more! Just stay tuned and wait for the next updates, because they might just change how you play Minecraft. At least if you have the mod installed, it's not going to do otherwise.

Ready to download this mod and explore the world? No?... How about now? Huh? If you want a better experience with Minecraft and a more complete feeling to Amethyst, you should try this mod out. Anyways, have a good day, and happy mining!
