The Pillager Outpost has existed in Minecraft for a long time, but why don't the Villagers have an outpost too? With this build, you can give the Villagers an opportunity to scout ahead and know the whereabouts of their enemy at all times.
This structure is also built in a normally generated world, allowing you to use it in a Survival playthrough, if you wish to do so.
