Diverse End Biomes adds 20 new biomes and over a dozen structures to explore, in a massive overhaul of The End dimension. The goal is for exploration to be more challenging and more rewarding than anywhere else in the game, all while giving you something to look at other than end stone and chorus plants. Biomes in general were designed with the idea that each one should give the player a reason to want to go there. If you work for it you can find new and convenient ways to farm items such as wood, quartz, mob drops, and more.

Biomes

  • End Firelands
  • Altered Garden
  • Amethyst Hills
  • Ancient Caverns
  • The Comb
  • Shattered Frostland
  • Glittering Peaks
  • The Wildwood
  • And more...

Structures

  • End Monoliths: Towering spawner dungeons reaching into the sky.
  • New End Cities: Buried, Infernal and Void End Cities, each with its own guards and loot.
  • Mineshafts: Caverns, Piglin and Void mineshafts.
  • Abandoned End villages: Discover the remnants of an old world.
  • Dungeons: New dungeon variants to be plundered.
  • Ocean ruins: In the sky? How peculiar...
  • Wizard towers: An Evoker awaits challengers at the top.
  • The Lab: With its watchful researchers.
  • The Timelost Villager: Cursed by some eldritch entity, this villager is bound to a spit of land floating in space. You can't help him, but maybe he can help you.

Loot & gear

  • Custom weapons, tools, armor and potions.
  • Custom enchanted books.
  • Can be disabled with the command /function diverse_end:settings/open

Notes

  • Requires a new world, or End chunks that haven't been generated yet.
  • Not compatible with other data packs that control terrain generation in The End.
  • It's recommended to disable Enderman griefing either with the mobGriefing rule or a data pack/mod.
