Description

By assembling an altar, players can commit themselves to the path of one of the gods.

By living according to their god's ideals, they will earn the benefits and boons of miracles.

This mod provides players with the means to worship one of a set of deities, such as by eating only the right foods, dwelling in the right environments, or taking the fight to the faithless in righteous combat. In exchange for keeping to their gods' tenets in this way, players will occasionally receive the benefit of miracles befitting their deity. When will those miracles happen? That I'm afraid is up to the god...

This mod is intentionally built with datapacks in mind, allowing you to create your own custom pantheon and further enhance your RPG gameplay.

Gods can have custom names, descriptions, icons, personalities, and domains of influence by altering their JSON data.

Each god can be given a function command to fire whenever a player prays to them, starts worshipping them, or starts worshipping them as their first god (including one for all three!). This allows you to add appropriate eminence to the god of stormclouds by releasing the sound of lightning, or ensure that all followers of the Endless Journey start out at the same sacred temple by teleporting them there, or even give new converts basic weapons and armour to best live up to the expectations of Brakkos the god of Bloodlust!
