Description
[This is a fork of Liketechnik-s-Tinker-Tweaks, which is itself a fork of Tinker Tool Leveling.]
Adds random modifiers to your tool when it levels up, with chat messages telling you which modifier you got, and incorporates some features from other Tinker Tool leveling mods.
Current Feature list:
- Gain a random modifier on levelup (default: on)
- Gain a modifier slot on levelup (default: off)
- Gain base stats on levelup (default: off)
- Customize XP gain on a per-tool-type basis in the config
- Customize random modifer pool on a per-tool-type basis (supports modifiers added by other mods) in the config
- Customize number of free modifier slots for a freshly made tool in the config
- Customize the stat growth if the growth module is enabled in the config
- Customize the chat messages for individual levels and modifiers in the config
As of v1.1.0:
This beta version adds an optional stat growth module. This means that when your tool levels up, it can gain a random modifier, an extra modifier slot, increased base stats, or any combination of the 3. This is set in the config. By default, only the random modifier module is enabled.
Stat growth currently does not affect bow stats, only the common stats found on all tools. It also does not change harvest level. In the future, this will be made more extensively configurable.
This feature was copied from Tinkers Leveling, a similar mod that granted raw bonus stats on levelup instead of random modifiers or modifier slots. You should NOT have both installed, just use this mod and set bonusStats=true to enable the feature.
As of v1.0.3:
All modifier messages and levelup messages are now customizable through the config. They can take the color codes described here, and can be toggled off to use the default values from the lang file instead.
Additional changes from Liketechnik-s-Tinker-Tweaks:
- The levelMuliplier is now included in the config file, and can be changed from its default value of 2.0. This option changes how the XP requirement scales for each levelup.
- XP always starts at 0 after a levelup. No more residual XP from killing giant bosses.
