After completing the behemoth that is Tier 2 you can combine the strongest artifacts claimed from slaying the five key bosses at the celestial forge to begin your venture into Tier 3! Once your world is Tier 3 new ores, animals & monsters will begin to spawn stronger than ever before, you'll find that previously locked structures will become available to explore containing various artifacts (new unique tools with a special modifier) for you to add to your arsenal.
The new soul shield mechanic adds a new layer of depth to combat without making your previous artifacts redundant. Some new monsters will spawn with a soul shield (indicated by roman numerals emitting from them) these shields provide protection by reducing incoming damage significantly, shields range in strength from soul shield 1 to soul shield 3 each increasing the protection value. To destroy these shields a new piece of equipment is required - the soul lantern (constructed using a soul flame at the luminator) initially barren the soul shield will require a parasitic charm to function giving it the ability to tear the barrier from your foes whether thats in the form of a siphon, shockwave or a vortex, each with their own benefits and drawbacks.
As a new form of protection the talismans serve as an end game goal, each requires a different combination of mob drops, a boss drop & a halo. Once formed a talisman will grant points to your own soul shield, each points of the shield can absorb an infinite amount of damage but is consumed in the process, similar to a totem of undying but unlike a totem each shield has ten points and can regenerate them. Depending on the Talisman the method of regeneration varies; the Geomancer must meditate to reform their shield, the Paladin must absorb damage to reform their shield, the Genie can only cast shields on others etc. On top of this each talisman can be upgraded to grant additional passive and active abilities which provide a niche which no artifact fills, for the final upgrade of a talisman the player must choose a path of which ability they wish to possess the most. There are 8 talismans in total each with their own mechanics and recipes encouraging a full exploration of all of the features of Tier 3. Getting a fully levelled up talisman will push a player to their limits and grant hours of exciting, engaging play time.
I realise that compared to Tier 2, Tier 3 is a major step down in quantity but due to time constraints I had to cut out a lot of features that I had hoped to include (e.g. another 5 factions with their own bosses and structures, a dynamic quest system with new NPCs and an advanced enchantment forge).
It is unlikely I will ever produce another mod of this scale as I hope to move on to bigger projects but I hope this serves as an ending to the tier series.
I don't think this series will get any further updates besides perhaps a small nether expansion for Tier 3 and version updates.

How to Install
Download Forge & Java
Download Forge from the offical Site or here. If you dont have Java installed then install it now from here. After Downloading Forge you can run the file with Java.
Prepare
Lounch Minecraft and select your Forge istallation as Version this will create a Folder called Mods.
Add Mods
Type Win+R and type %appdata% and open the .minecraft Folder. There will you find your Folder called Mods. Place all Mods you want to play in this Folder
Enjoy
You are now Ready. Re-start your Game and start Playing.
