Description

The Skill System contains many interesting and useful skills. But if that isn't enough for you, you can simply add more through the use of data packs.

Skills from this mod include:

  • Walking: walk faster
  • Sturdy Legs: take less fall damage
  • Animal Husbandry: reduce mating cooldown of nearby animals
  • Sword Proficiency: deal more damage when using a sword
  • Prospecting: get some extra drops from ores
  • Diving: stay underwater for longer without needing air
  • Exploring: discover structures easier

...and more!

There are some features planned that aren't implemented yet like viewing your status (your bonuses from skills, etc.) via a command.

User Guide

The Skills from this mod work a little differently from what you might expect. Instead of gaining XP to level and improve your skills, you need to do something related to the skill to gain and level it. By leveling skills you gain skill points. These can be used to evolve your skills. Evolving your skills means that you gain a new skill based on the skill you evolved (diving for evolving swimming for example) but it also means you can't level the base skill anymore.

Open the skill menu by pressing 'K'. You can view, configure and evolve your skills there.
