Description

The Dark Dimension Mod adds a new dimension with four biomes, four mobs and a music disk as well as a new painting.

The Dark Dimension is a perfect place for creepy horror maps, survival, and more. There isn't much light, and you see red eyes staring at you...

You can enter the dark dimension by making a portal the same way as a nether portal except with soul sand, and the Dark Dimension Portal Igniter which can be made from soul sand, soul soil and a soul torch.

BIOMES:

The Mossy Biome- Full of green, this biome has lots of moss and a new wood called mossy trees.

Deserted Biome- Sand and dead bushes, this biome is very creepy.

Shadow Biome- Full of mountains and darkness. They have their own type of trees in this biome.

Decayed Biome- The creepiest biome out of all, torches are almost effect less due to everything being dark and dead including the grass and water. You can find wither roses here, and getting the wither effect from there could jumpscare you quite a bit. This has decayed trees in the biome, as well as wither plants.

MOBS:

Stalker- There are two types. Glowing eyes and no glowing eyes. They like to stare at you from far away, and don't move. That doesn't mean they're passive. If you get too close to them, they can deal so much damage regardless of your armor. The glowing eye type is easy to avoid, while the no glowing eye type is harder to spot, and you could bump into one without even noticing.

Shadow- There are two types. Normal, and desert creeper shadows. The normal have a creepy smile, and come running at you when you're in sight. From far away, it likes to stare at you. The desert creeper type doesn't have eyes, nose or a mouth making them hard to spot because they can camouflage in the dark, and in the desert biome, the one biome they spawn in. They can also attack you.

Slow Shadow- This one looks a lot like the Normal Shadows, but are slower... And worse... They can spot you from up to 300 blocks away, and slowly creep up towards you...

Tiny Fish- These don't spawn in the ocean. In fact, the look like silverfish except they are black. They are very rare, and hard to spot. If you get attacked by something but you don't know what or where it is, RUN. Tiny fish are deadly, and have low hp, but they deal incredible damage.

Killer Surgeon- Nobody knows who he is, or where he came from. We only know he used to be a doctor that went through extreme mental problems... He will move very fast, and is hard to spot. The only way to escape him is go out of his range of view, or just stay away.

BLOCKS (other than wood):

Dark Lamp- This is uncraftable, but can be used for creative players map making. It adds a lot of horror into your maps.

Lab Metal Block- Very resistant and hard to break, this block is also unobtainable unless in creative mode and can be useful for building maps.

As well as the new ore, voidgem. This can be found in the Dark Dimension too.

NOTE: Set your brightness to moody for full in-game experience.
