Steve's Bizarre Adenture

A "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" mod based upon the anime and manga franchise created by Hirohiko Araki.
This mod is an updated version of the 1.6.4 MC version released by "VG" from Korea.

Currently the mod is mostly made up of Stands, entities that when activated provide the player with increased power, speed and other enchantments. Several items that can be crafted help provide the player with the means to obtain their own stand power. Basic special abilities are included with the mod for each stand with many more being worked on.

Hamon and Vampirism is available in the current release but are very basic.

Additional features of the mod exist but do not add anything to gameplay.

Despite the long time since the previous update the mod is being worked on actively, and has undergone a lot of changes to revamp it. Some such changes are moving away from the hunger system of Vanilla Minecraft. Stand progression is being overhauled so rather than it being the flat exp that is gained, there will be more to this with an emphasis on affecting the stands strength.

Code is being rewritten to fix several long time bugs as my earlier code was full of issues. More abilities and expanded systems to come as well as overhauled models for the stands that will also allow for custom stands to be made. A general improvement to all aspects with a push for quality content rather than quantity.

IMPORTANT

Despite the lengthy time since an update, the mod is not abandoned. The mod is being updated albeit very slowly.
1.12.2 is being working on actively at the moment.

1.16.5 is a planned port in the future, no timeline has been set.

Disclaimer : I do not own Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I have only updated a mod that is made around that franchise.

Basic Controls :
"V" to summon your stand.
Punch (ie left click) for basic attacks.
Sprint + Punch for different attack / ability.
Sneak + Jump for another ability, sometimes will switch to a different mode. i.e. Crazy Diamond Heal / Destroy, or The Hands scrape / barrage attack.
In the current builds the controls have changed slightly and also rely on activating the powers too. Done with X and C, sneak and these buttons also switch things. Z opens the stats menu.


FAQ - Answers :
- Echoes just goes to Act 1 (0.3 series)
- Hamon and Vampire are basic powers.
- Configs have lots of options for different things.
- Time Stop is disabled and cannot be changed. 0.3.2 has a usable version but buggy, config option.
- "Disc Power" item is used on a gold and iron block for different effects.
- Stand exp gained from having the stand active.

NOPE, I have not given up on this mod, updates are going to happen. I have a very hectic real life so my time has become restricted. I still mod when I can.

Make sure to read the rules and the faq, there are far too many people not even bothering and they answer your questions. Discord has update logs that are posted weekly on progress, and will include the changelogs whenever there is an update. Don't have to join the discord however if unsure of anything that would be the best way to find an answer.
