Description

The Parties mod introduces a party system that seamlessly integrates with multiple mods to create a unified RPG solo or multiplayer experience. It alters some vanilla mechanics to create a "Better Together" adventure, ranging from party xp sharing to boss scaling health, damage, and loot.
It creates a HUD with individual elements and tooltips that provide information about the player's current stats. You're able to hover over the tooltips with the mouse by using the new "Show Mouse" keybind or hovering over the tooltips while the chat is open.
It supports various mods ranging from Iron's Spells and Ars Nouveau to JEED for mob effect descriptions. The mod dynamically generates a default preset depending on the mod support list and stores it in the config folder. If adding another supported mod you will have to regenerate/reset this preset through the settings.

- Customizable elements that are dynamically configured depending on the active mods list.
- Tooltips that provide colorful information depending on the hovered element.
- A preset system that allows people to create, save, and even share layouts of each individual frame.
- XP Sharing between party members: either to members nearby or globally.
- Highlight team members to keep track of them.
- Disabling damage between party members (and the option to turn it back on).
- Vanilla Teams support (which in turn integrates with mods that support the vanilla teams system)
- The ability to scale boss health, damage, and loot depending on the number of players in the party, dimension, or the server.
- Support for Apotheosis' affixed bosses/minibosses as well with an extra config option to multiply affixed loot.
A new keybind named Show Mouse (Party UI), default Left Alt, allows you to control your mouse. You're able to hover over elements to see tooltips. A button appears that allows you to modify settings specific to the UI of the mod, and bring up other submenus.
These menus allows you to modify the position, scale, and anchor of each frame. There are currently two frames implemented: The Party frame and the Player frame. You can drag each frame or use the respective buttons and even toggle a grid for alignment help.
You are also able to customize all elements that are available for each frame to truly make your party HUD unique. Options involve position, scale, colors, text, and more. (WIP for 1.20)

This mod is not working with X mod and it causes a crash!
Come to me first and tell me about your issue. Since this mod focuses on rendering and dealing with provided data, an issue would probably be easily fixed on my side.
How do I disable or edit the UI?
In version 1.18 and 1.19 there is an in-game preset editor that allows you to enable or disable any element that is currently implemented and available. This feature doesn't exist for 1.20 yet, but for the pre-release versions, you can import your presets from 1.18 and 1.19.
Can you add support for X mod?
First of all, thank you for showing interest in increasing this mod's potential. Once version 2.0 (in 1.20) is fully released, I will be able to easily add support for more mods and provide an area where mod suggestions could be made.
Can you backport changes, or support earlier versions of Minecraft?
Since the mod's release I feel like I've been playing catch-up, trying to reach the latest version of Minecraft. Going backwards to lower versions would be more difficult to do, and is of less priority than supporting later versions. Version 2.0 of the mod for 1.20 will not be backported to earlier versions, either - at least not at this time.
Fabric?
Not right now.
Can I use this mod in a modpack or other playthroughs?
Of course!
