Realistic Furnace Ignition

Craving a touch of realism in your game? With this mod, you have to manually light up your furnaces. No more automatic starts!

Manual Ignition in Action

Ignite Your Furnaces

Manual Ignition

You need to light up your furnaces manually before

they'll start cooking.

This works for both vanilla and modded furnaces!

Multiple Ignition Methods

Light furnaces with Flint and Steel or craft the

Sparkling Flint for early game.

Want to use your own items?

Just add them via in-game configuration!

Environmental Factors

Place furnaces over lava or fire for automatic

ignition like in vanilla game.

No manual lighting needed.

Rain will cancel this effect, requiring

manual lighting again!

Switchgrass

Find Switchgrass blocks in the world.

Harvest them when they reach 2nd or 3rd growth

stage to get Switchgrass Fiber.

You'll need several harvests to craft Sparkling Flint and

start your adventure!
