Dimensions:

Voiche: home to Valerian, very dark.

Purgatory: A barren wasteland with dark atmosphere and no mobs whatsoever. To get here, simply die and respawn and you will have a small chance to tp here.

NIGHTMARE: a literal nightmare dimension, used for fighting the nightmare bosses. If you take damage while your health is under 15(7.5 hearts), you will "wake up"(tp back to overworld)

True End: the end of this mod. The very place where the final boss(es) is(are) fought

 

Bosses:

TORTURE: The manifestation of all of your pain and suffering(tall enderman like creature, moves slowly, hard to see, teleports if nobody is close)

GREED: The manifestation of your greediness(3 waves of enemies, vulnerable on the last phase, golem-like)

CALAMITY: the manifestation of your destruction(creeper-like, invulnerable until end crystals are destroyed, spawns creepers when it takes damage and is low on health)

 DISGUST: The culmination of all your built up hatred.(ravager-like, huge knockback and knockback resistance)

TYRANT: The culmination of the harm you caused for others.(spawns multiple illagers(withers on agony mode), invulnerable until they are all killed, one shot otherwise.)

LOST: The manifestation of all of your deaths.(ghost, flying- like, possesses zombies and strengthens them, un-possessed zombies are invulnerable until LOSTS is killed.)

Possessed zombie: a zombie that has been possessed by the Lost

 

PHOBIA: The culmination of all your fear.(Spider-like, kills it's own minions to spawn more)

The Reflections(You/Me): the fear of what you could become(very powerful(maybe god-like?) entities that will use lightning, tnt, and arrows to kill you, very high health, two phases, good luck)

ANGUISH: the culmination of the suffering caused by the nightmares(stationary, huge, very high health, uses tnt, and lightning to kill you)

AGONY: same as ANGUISH, but in ghost-like form(has two phases, 2nd is a surprise)

 

Ores:

Valerian: stronger than Netherite, full armor adds a damage buff(gets better with each level of normal strength) spawns in Voiched

Umbierite: stronger than Valerian, wearing any armor piece will heal all of the armor you're wearing. spawns in the overworld

Aetherite: stronger than Umbierite, made by upgrading your Netherite gear. spawns in Purgatory

Midnight: stronger than Aetherite, made by upgrading your Netherite(no not Aetherite) gear. spawns in the end

 

Mechanics:

Nightmares: going to sleep gives you a chance to have a nightmare when you wake up, doing so will spawn a boss that you have to kill.

TnT throw: throw TnT, what did you expect?

COTC(Call of the Corruption) compatibility: COTC is an extension of COTN, with a different story, continues from COTN after defeating AGONY.

 

Enchantments:

Total Protection: small chance to cancel all damage taken

Umbierite's Blessing: heals items over time, cannot be combined with mending

 

Other Items:

Totem of Protection: every totem cancels one hit, no matter how big or how small the damage is.

Holy Mirror: same as above and reflects 5 damage back at the attacker

Tarnished Flesh: after eating, next time you sleep, you will have a nightmare.

Resonance(fluid): a purple-pink fluid that will clear you of tarnishing, and grant you regeneration, found in the Voiche and overworld(deep dark only) dimensions, is now moveable after 3.0.

Tarnished Bone: makes some tools and armor slightly stronger than iron

Tarnished Gunpowder: makes super strength

Blood Laser: deals 3 damage to player, massive damage to enemies(gun basically)

Totem of the Last Resort: Deals pretty much infinite damage to the user, heals nearby players, and deals MAJOR damage to nearby enemies.

Raw Nightmare: obtained by killing ANGUISH, used to craft the two above items.

Locked Journal: obtained by killing ANGUISH, unlocked by killing the Reflections

Unlocked Journal: use to fight the reflections followed by AGONY.

Open Journal: use with COTC mod installed to continues the story.

Mind Link: allow you to join other players in their nightmares, requires charge from right clicking on a redstone wire, torch, or block. punch a player(not right-click) with 100 charge and wait for them to have a nightmare.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Agony Mode:

Torture teleports to the player at a closer range

Greed summons twice as many mobs

Calamity's end crystals spawn 3 times as far(bring a bow)

Disgust(no change)

Tyrant instead summon three withers

Lost spawns tarnished zombies along with it

Phobia's minion cap has been increased from 4 to 12

Reflections attacks are now harder. Can no longer be fought without creative mode

Time is always set to midnight
