Description
There are a few mods on the video game Terraria that allow you to access certain consumables in the game (like potions, arrows, or other similar things) infinitely. However, Minecraft has no similar mods, which means that of course, I had to make it; in all truth, it was my civic duty.
To cut to the chase, Boundless is a mod that adds a single enchantment - unsurprisingly called Boundless. It is a treasure enchantment, and when put on certain items (see below), it makes them unconsumable, allowing you to drink, eat, or use them forever. All functionality should work with dispensers, although if I missed any tell me and I'll get it fixed. There is a config which allows you to toggle item groups on or off, with a few of the most OP ones off by default.
List of items enabled by default
-Potions (regular, splash, and lingering)
-Buckets (all but mob buckets)
-Throwable items (ender pearls, snowballs, and eggs)
-All arrows (not for bows - only works with dispensers)
-Fire Charges
-All foods
-Spawn Eggs
List of items off by default
-Experience bottles
-Mob buckets
-Ender eyes (works both for locating strongholds and filling in end portals)
-Bone meal
-Totems of Undying
-End Crystals
FAQ
This is a Forge mod.
FAQ
"Is this OP?"
Yes. If I cared about balance, I wouldn't be a modder.
"Can you make boundless tools?"
I already have.
"What about infinity? Can you make it work with crossbows & spectral/tipped arrows?"
No, but fortunately other modloaders have already done that work. If you want a complete limitless experience, download these two mods:
-Universal Enchants by Fuzs_
-All Arrows Infinity Fix by JackBusters1
"Will you port to [earlier version] or [other modloader]?"
No. However, you are free to port it yourself.
"Will you port to [later version]"
If I'm no longer active in the community you can port it. However, I'll probably be trying to port it myself if I'm not inactive.
"Is this compatible with other mods?"
Probably, depending on how they implemented their items. It may not be though - if not, tell me and I'll try to get it worked out.
