Features:
- TownyMail links together Essentials and Towny to create an easy way for mayors and kings to send mail to their people.
- Able to send messages to all residents, all town/nation ranks, and even to all the mayors in a nation.
- Uses the mailing system directly from Essentials.
- Ability to update the config file if your Towny rank names were changed.
- Permissions are taken care inside of the plugin to make for an easy setup.
Note: Make sure you have the latest versions of Essentials and Towny.
Commands:
Mayor commands:
- /tmail residents [message]
- /tmail assistants [message]
- /tmail helpers [message]
- /tmail staff [message]
King commands:
- /tmail nresidents [message]
- /tmail mayors [message]
- /tmail nassistants [message]
- /tmail nhelpers [message]
- /tmail nstaff [message]
All commands can be shortened to save room for the message.
For example: /tm r [message] or /tm na [message]
Permissions:
As stated before, TownyMail does not have the need for permissions. TownyMail checks for the ranks of each resident that uses the plugin. This plugin should be available to every Towny resident.
Config:
There are 4 values you can change.
- TownAssistantRankName (default: Assistant)
- TownHelperRankName (default: Helper)
- NationAssistantRankName (default: Assistant)
- NationHelperRankName (default: Helper)
Only change these values if you have changed the names of the ranks in the Towny Config files.
