QuickMiner
When you break one block, it breaks multiple blocks of the same type for you.
I made as an experiment, and hope it will be useful to someone. For a more featureful version, see Veinminer which supports cooperation with anti-cheating plugins and has permissions.
Examples:
- Chop down a tree,
- Mine a vein of ores,
- Collect sand
- Whatever you configure (or not configure, to prevent unfair play and griefing)
Features:
- Only blocks of the same type are mined,
- Up to a maximum number of blocks are mined,
- Breaking blocks correctly affects hunger,
- Enchantments of tool are correctly used (Silk Touch, Unbreaking, Fortune)
Configurable:
- Which tools can break which blocks (taking into account Silk Touch),
- How many blocks can be mined in one go,
- If the tool should be allowed to break,
- Which blocks should count as the same type,
Quirks, which cannot be fixed:
- Because the player can mine/dig/farm/chop faster, the gameplay balance shifts.
- Because the player doesn't have to move/jump around, less hunger is used.
