Wizard's Ale
Introduction
Welcome to Wizard's Ale, this is a small mod that I thought of while watching someone make Boba tea.
Features
Wizard's Ale
- The Beverage: Craft this unique beverage using a (somewhat) straightforward recipe.
- Randomized Effects Imbibe the Ale and experience a wondrous effect. Will you gain the strength of a bear, the agility of a squirrel, or perhaps find yourself inexplicably invisible?
Effects
All of these effects are temporary.
- Lactose Intolerance: Should the drinker not spontaneously explode upon drinking this beverage they will find themselves unable to digest milk and consequently unable to get rid of potion effects. :)
- Nausea: Self explanatory, there is a chance that the drinker only feels nausea upon drinking the Ale.
- Invisibility: Hostile Entities and other Players around the drinker will become invisible.
- Bear Strength: The consumer will find themselves unable to fit through doors, their armor will pop off of them, they will however gain natural armor, a significant health boost as well as a significant damage increase.
- Squirrel Rage: The drinker will find themselves becoming positively small but much more agile and MUCH faster.
- Slippery Hands: The imbiber will find themselves unable to hold any items as well as unable to harm any entity.
- Random Teleportation: A random teleportation.
- Midas' Touch: The Consumer's tools, armor and metals become golden.
- Sweet Rollification: The Drinker becomes a pile of Sweet Rolls.
- Cheese Wheelification: The Player becomes A wheel of cheese.
- Animal Transfiguration: The Imbiber becomes a Random Vanilla Mob.
- Power Ascension: Special Effect that has to be brewed.
- Death: Death, a sudden (and explosive) one.
Items and Blocks
The mod adds a few items and blocks, they are:
- Hop: An Item that sometimes drops from vines, it can be planted on Rooted Dirt, the plant grows like Sugar Cane would, does not need water.
- Witch Eye: An Item that is rarely dropped by Witches when they are killed by a player, the drop chance is not affected by looting.
- Sweet Roll: A sweet treat that gives beneficial potion effects.
- Cheese Wheel: A Wheel of Cheese that can be placed on the ground, is eaten like a cake, cures effects, is affected by lactose intolerance.
- Wizard's Ale: A powerful Brew that grants esoteric effects when consumed, it is made using Wizard's Reagent.
- Wizard Ale: A lesser, cheaper, version of the Wizard's Ale, it has a straightforward brewing recipes but includes side effects, it is made using Wizard Reagent.
- Numerous Potions: Nearly every Effect in the mod can be distilled into its own potion by brewing a Wizard's Reagent with a specific item.
Brewing Recipes
- Wizard Reagent: This potion that induces nausea is brewed using a Witch Eye and Awkward Potions.
- Wizard Ale: This drink is brewed using a Hop and Wizard Reagents.
- Wizard's Reagent: This potion that induces nausea is brewed using an Enchanted Golden Apple(Notch Apple) and Wizard Reagents.
